We probably don’t need to explain what Paradise does – the name says it all! Tomahawk have been working with the New Zealand based tour operator for many years and in February 2016 we were excited to launch their new responsive website.

The Challenge

Paradise offers a range of guided and independent New Zealand motorcycle tours as well as motorcycle hire and the occasional specialised tour in Europe. Each tour had a lot of information to convey and multiple dates and pricing options.

The focus of this redesign therefore was simplicity: it was important that the website communicated Paradise’s different offerings in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. All at the same time as selling the truly amazing Paradise experience…

The Solution

The new website uses attractive imagery alongside clear labeling and icons to quickly communicate the differences between each motorcycle tour. Users can also add their favourite tours to an area that helps to compare them.

By using images in the drop down navigation menus, we gave life to what would otherwise have been a long list of tours or motorcycles. Whilst each tour contains a lot of information, different tabs help to ensure the content is not overwhelming. A map is included, allowing the user to zoom in and out on the planned tour route.

Testimonials were spread out over the website to convey the amazing experience that clients were given whilst on tour.

As part of the project, we re-wrote copy for the tour itineraries to ensure it was up to the brand's high standards.

Within a month of going live, the website saw a 23% increase in organic search traffic from the positive effects on SEO.
